This hands-on course provides the basic knowledge, skills and aptitude for members of a facility HazMat team or who function as an environmental HazMat cleanup worker. You’ll learn basic chemistry and toxicology, deployment and operation of air monitoring equipment, multi-stage decontamination operations, spill control and containment strategies, and how to develop and implement an incident response plan for containment & cleanup.
