President’s Ambassadors of Cincinnati State
Mission
The President’s Ambassadors mission is to provide Cincinnati State Technical and Community College with student leaders to serve the needs of the College and the community. The student volunteers participate in campus events throughout the year. These activities educate and expand prospective student awareness of educational programs offered at Cincinnati State. This club develops relationships with students, faculty, and staff along with leadership skills that will support students in a diverse job market.
Who We Are
The President’s Ambassadors are a diverse group of students that help prospective students, families, and the community to understand the benefits of pursuing an education at Cincinnati State. Ambassadors serve as role models and representatives of the College by communicating the mission, vision, and culture of the College. President’s Ambassadors assist in campus events and share their knowledge and experiences of Cincinnati State.
Qualifications:
President’s Ambassadors must have the following qualifications to be eligible to apply:
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a Faculty Member.
- Be currently and continually enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours at Cincinnati State.
- Possess and maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA in all college academic work.
- Learn and demonstrate a basic knowledge of the various aspects and resources of Cincinnati State including, but not limited to admissions, financial aid, academics, and student services.
- Ability to work with a diverse student population.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit leadership, initiative, organization, responsibility, and respect.
- Post 2-3 times per week on social media.
- Participate in 2 events per month.
