Middletown Campus now offering in-person student services
Prospective and current students at Cincinnati State Middletown now have the option for in-person assistance with admissions, advising, and financial aid services.
In-person services at Middletown Campus started Monday, July 20, 2020.
Students can receive remote assistance also, via phone or email.
The Middletown Campus reopening plan ensures adherence to CDC, state, and local safety guidelines related to COVID-19.
For Fall Semester, Middletown Campus students have many options for online courses as well as some in-person classes.
In-person classes scheduled for Middletown Campus include English composition, math, statistics, business management, early childhood education, keyboarding, computer applications, and FYE (first-year experience).
“We have two priorities—safety, and serving the students of Middletown and Butler County,” said Tom Hale, Acting Director of Cincinnati State Middletown.
“Some students find online learning challenging and we want to provide them with in-person learning options that will help them get a strong start toward success in college,” Tom added.
- All in-person classes at Cincinnati State Middletown will have limited enrollment to ensure appropriate social distancing.
- Students, instructors, and staff will be required to wear face coverings.
- Cincinnati State Middletown will frequently clean and disinfect work and common areas according to CDC guidelines, and encourage students and staff to follow CDC-recommended personal hygiene protocols.
President Monica Posey said, “Whatever we can do as a college and community to help our students now will have an immense return in the future.”
“Every day, our graduates make our community more safe, prosperous and livable, and their contributions in the workforce will be crucial in helping our region emerge from this downturn,” Dr. Posey said.
