Local entrepreneurs completed Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program offered via WDC
A group of 21 entrepreneurs from throughout Cincinnati and the region successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program (10KSB) and celebrated at a graduation event on April 19, 2024.
President Monica Posey congratulated the program graduates and Liz Field, founder and owner of The Cheesecakery, and a program alumnus, offered remarks.
This was the fifth group of local small business owners to complete the 14-week training program since Cincinnati State’s Workforce Development Center began facilitating 10,000 Small Businesses programs in 2019.
The 10KSB program helps entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunities by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital, and business support services.
“Cincinnati State is proud to be a national partner in supporting the small business and entrepreneurial community here in Cincinnati,” said 10KSB Program Director Sarah Allen.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is an initiative funded through the Cincinnati State Foundation in partnership with the College.
