Financial Aid Timeline

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the key to receiving financial aid at Cincinnati State. Some aid programs are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, so complete the FAFSA early. The FAFSA you fill out depends on which year and/or semester you will be attending classes.

Not sure which FAFSA to complete?

  • If you will be attending classes during Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025, you fill out the 2024-2025 FAFSA.
  • If you will not be attending classes until Fall 2025, you will fill out the 2025-2026 FAFSA. This will be available on Federal Student Aid’s website by the end of 2024.

Use the timeline below as a guide.
