General Services 

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities – Ohio College2Careers Partnership
Cincinnati State Technical & Community College, in a partnership with the State of Ohio’s Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is proud to offer Ohio College2Career (Ohio C2C) services for our students with disabilities. 

Ohio C2C enhances the services already available to college students through disability services and career services. The Ohio C2C Counselor is employed by OOD but has an office at Cincinnati State. The Ohio C2C Counselor is available to assist students with disabilities (e.g., physical, learning, mental health, sensory, hearing, vision, and more) with additional services and support. Helps individuals who have physical, sensory, cognitive, and/or psychological disabilities to maintain active and productive lives of their choosing.

Hearing Impairment Services 

Deaf Services Center
Empowering those faced with language barriers by promoting access to communication.

Ohio Relay
A service that enable people who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind or those with a Speech Disability to place and receive phone calls. 

Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness 
Helps infants, children, and adults reach their fullest potential by eliminating communication and language barriers through personalized services, technology, and education. 

Vision/Reading Impairment Services 

Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI)
A private not-for-profit organization with a long and respected tradition of offering comprehensive services to people who are blind or visually impaired.  

Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Provides comprehensive program services to promote independence and foster the highest quality of life for people with visual impairments. 

Sight for Students
A Vision Service Plan (VSP) charity that provides free vision exams and glasses to low-income, uninsured children. 

Vision USA
Provides free eye exams to low-income Americans across the U.S. 

Prevent Blindness
Promotes vision care through screening, educating, advocating, and training.

Disability Diagnostic Services 

UC Behavioral Health Center
Provides testing to UC students and community members to identify learning disabilities, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other issues that might make it difficult for students to achieve in school. 

The Children’s Home: Educational & Behavioral Health
Provides comprehensive education evaluations to help identify learning challenges in children, teens and adults. 

The Affinity Center
Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavioral, learning, and mood disorders for children and adults.

Autism Resource Center
Autism is a neurodevelopment disorder caused by abnormal brain development and functioning.  Early detection and getting the right educational, medical, behavioral, and supportive services can improve the functioning and long-term outlook of children with autism.

Birth Injury
The Birth Injury Justice Center is an online resource for anyone who has been affected by birth injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, Erb’s palsy or other disabilities. The organization was created to provide answers and guidance to help families and children get all the assistance they need to help improve their overall quality of life.
