Overview

The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Core Skills Certificate prepares graduates for entry-level employment in foster care agencies, group homes, supported employment centers, child/adult day services, and agencies that provide respite/attendant care services that may be supported by Ohio Home Care Waiver Medicaid coverage.

Students who successfully complete the certificate are prepared to address the challenges and opportunities of working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
