Overview

The Hazard Recognition Officer Certificate provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to conduct fire and life safety inspections in Ohio. Students who successfully complete the certificate are prepared to take the exam for Ohio EMS Hazard Recognition Officer (HRO) certification.

To enter the program, students must hold a current and valid Ohio Firefighter certificate.
