200 High School students to experience “speek geeking” at Cincinnati State’s engineering conference tomorrow, October 30 from 9AM – 2PM

Tomorrow morning, area high school juniors and seniors who are focused on pre-engineering will visit the Cincinnati State campus from 9 AM – 2 PM during a technology, college and career conference. The day’s activities feature 70-minute hands-on technology workshops; a “speed geek” networking experience for individual and small-group exposure to multiple employers, colleges and professional engineering organizations; as well as small group flash sessions. There will also be an employer luncheon panel focused on “hot jobs” in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Cincinnati State, Miami University and University of Cincinnati College of Engineering & Applied Science faculty and staff are participating.

Also featured are representatives from Ohio Means Jobs, P&G, GE Aviation, PPG Packaging, Abercrombie & Associates, ADVICS Manufacturing Ohio, Inc., and Quality Civil, Inc.
