Easterseals’ Prosperity for All program to announce expansion that will help more area residents and families overcome poverty
What: On Tuesday, May 15, leaders from the non-profit, for-profit, government and higher education sectors will gather at Cincinnati State to announce the expansion of the Prosperity for All program, which has shown strong results in addressing Cincinnati’s poverty crisis by assisting individuals in obtaining training that leads to in-demand jobs that pay a living wage.
Nearly half of all children in the city of Cincinnati, and one in five in the Tri-State, are living in poverty. It is crucial to help the adults in their lives to prepare for better jobs that can sustain a family, exactly what Prosperity for All is doing. It’s also helping area employers who need more skilled workers.
