Overview

The Landscape Technician Certificate prepares students to immediately enter the landscaping industry as a skilled technician with general knowledge of plant science, landscape operations, and design.

All of the certificate courses can be applied to an associate’s degree program in Landscape Horticulture, Sustainable Horticulture, or Turfgrass Management, where students will also earn an OSHA 10 certification.

Graduate placement is consistently successful because there are more existing opportunities than graduates. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment of landscape architects and grounds maintenance workers will remain steady or grow slightly through 2032.
