Three students named to All-Ohio Community College Academic Team

Three Cincinnati State students were recognized as members of the All-Ohio Community College Academic Team for 2024.

  • A total of 56 students from Ohio’s 23 community colleges were honored in April 2024 for their academic excellence, leadership, and community service. First-team students received a $500 scholarship and second-team honorees received a $250 scholarship.
  • The program recognizes students who plan to continue their education in a bachelor’s degree program as well as those who expect to enter the workforce immediately after completing their associate degree.
  • The All-Ohio Academic Team program is sponsored by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges, Phi Theta Kappa academic honor society, and Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc.
  • Cincinnati State’s nominations were coordinated by the Student Activities department. Academic advisors were asked to nominate up to four students, and then all nominations were reviewed to select those who were submitted for state recognition.
