Occupational Therapy Assistant alumnus will lead Ohio OT Association
Christie Tuttle, an occupational therapy assistant at Summit Behavioral Healthcare and an adjunct instructor for several Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) courses, has been selected as President Elect for the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association (OOTA), starting in July 2023.
Christie will move into the role of President of the state association in July 2024.
Christie earned the OTA associate’s degree at Cincinnati State in 1999.
Christie said, “I’m excited to be representing Cincinnati State and the Occupational Therapy Assistant program as the President Elect of OOTA. I’m looking forward to helping advance the quality of occupational therapy services provided in the state of Ohio, and improving and advancing the education and qualification of occupational therapy practitioners and students.”
She added, “I hope to promote occupational therapy as a valued profession for meeting societal needs for health and well-being.”
