Financial Aid
Cincinnati State offers financial aid in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) evaluates a student’s need for various types of financial aid.
The FAFSA for the 2024-2025 academic year has undergone significant changes. Our FAFSA Simplification page provides all the information you’ll need to create your FSA ID and apply for financial aid with the new FAFSA.
The 2025-26 FAFSA will be available by the end of December 2024. This will be the FAFSA you need to fill out starting in Fall 2025. You must fill out the FAFSA every school year in order to receive financial aid.
If a student’s pending financial aid exceeds their tuition and fees, they may use their excess aid for purchases at the College’s Follett Bookstore (ATLC Building) with their SurgeCard.

Friday, August 21st: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, August 26th – Thursday, August 29th: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday, August 30th: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Regular Hours will resume on Tuesday, September 3rd.
