Overview

Falls from height remain one of the leading causes of employee injury. Workers in both general industry & construction must understand how to safely operate at elevation in order to prevent potentially serious occupational injuries. The Comprehensive Fall Protection Workshop provides 8 hours of instruction on basic fall protection for both general industry and construction in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR § 1910 and 1926 regulations as well as the ANSI Z359 series of standards for competency in fall protection requirements.  Attendees will understand basic risk assessments for fall protection, including hazard recognition, suspension trauma, and fall protection control measures, and will have the requisite knowledge and skill to be declared as an authorized fall protection worker by their employer.
