TV news story highlights health care careers

On February 11, 2021, WCPO TV (Channel 9) interviewed Dr. Janelle McCord, Dean of the College’s Health and Public Safety Division, as part of a story about increased interest in health care careers because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dean McCord said in some cases, Cincinnati State can’t meet employer demand for skilled health care professionals, even with high enrollment in many allied health programs.
“They need more people than we’re able to produce,” she said.
