Cincinnati State faculty were honored at GC3 “Celebration of Teaching”

Cincinnati State faculty members Meredith Effler and Ann Fallon were recognized at the 36th Annual Celebration of Teaching event hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Collegiate Connection (GC3) on November 3, 2023.

GC3 includes 19 area colleges and universities, and strives to “enhance the vitality of higher education and strengthen each individual institution, its faculty, its administration, and its student body.” The 2023 Celebration of Teaching recognized 24 outstanding educators.

Meredith and Ann were the recipients of the College’s House/Bruckmann Faculty Excellence Awards for 2023.

• Meredith Effler is a Professor of English who has served the College as a full-time faculty member for 10 years, in addition to five years of service as an adjunct instructor.
• Ann Fallon, Professor of Chemical Technology and Environmental Engineering Technology, has served as a full-time faculty member for 27 years and previously was an adjunct instructor for four years.
