New Student Orientation

On your mark, get set with New Student Orientation!

If you haven't attended a new student orientation this summer, it's not too late! You are invited to get a jumpstart on your Cincinnati State experience by attending New Student Orientation. This session includes information on the online services available through MyCState, parking and safety regulations, SurgeCard information, financial aid presentations, campus services, getting involved at Cincinnati State, campus tours, and more. In addition, as an incoming student, you’ll have an opportunity to meet with representatives from our academic divisions and win lots of goodies, including a free t-shirt. There are refreshments and great door prizes, including campus parking permits. Academic advising and course scheduling are not part of this Orientation program.  You must schedule an appointment with your advisor prior to Orientation.

New Student Orientation and registration sessions are scheduled in the summer in preparation for the Early Fall term.  New Student Orientation sessions are offered for the Late Fall, Winter, and Spring terms.
