Semester Transition Project

The Semester Transition Project (STP) at Cincinnati State involves various activities that will facilitate change from the current five-term academic calendar to a semester calendar. The semester system will begin in Fall 2012.

This site will provide updated information about the project, as it becomes available.

A separate site will be established soon to provide electronic workspace for the STP project committees.

September 25

College Convocation Seminar - STP Co-chairs Paul DeNu and Alice Palmer will provide updates and answer questions.

September 28

STP Steering Committee Retreat – Co-chairs of the 10 STP committees will establish tasks and milestones for the project.

October 2

Meeting at Columbus State for the 13 community colleges with semester conversion projects (and others that recently changed to semesters).

October 13

Meeting at Wright State for colleges and universities with semester conversion projects.
