The Cincinnati State Honors Experience is designed for students who desire an educational challenge, wish to explore the world of ideas, and go beyond the standard work of the classroom. The Honors Experience complements the existing degree programs.  You can be enrolled in any degree and be in Honors.

Students who enjoy intellectual conversation, independent research, and collaborative learning, who want to take personal responsibility for their academic success and be recognized for their hard work should consider the Honors Experience. Co-curricular enrichment programs and social activities will help create a learning community that supports academic excellence and student success, while also fostering close relationships with faculty.

The Honors Experience is open to part-time and full-time degree seeking students in all divisions who meet the entrance criteria. Students are first admitted to a divisional degree program and then apply to be in the Honors Experience.
